TUCSON FRIENDSHIPS
We have been fortunate to meet up again with people we’ve known since 2012 in this RV park, and also hikers from our trip to Chiricahua National Park, out east on the border with New Mexico.
It’s going to be school spring break next week so I spend a lot of time researching how to book RV parks and especially state parks. This is the first visit when we have felt it necessary to have bookings everywhere before we just turn up as we did in the past. More people on the road. More RVers.
Fortunately we have fairly good wifi in our second location at Far Horizons RV park, but I still resort to my cell at times just to get things done!
Our location here is also close to the pool and other central facilities, so much better.
Friday we arrange to meet Vollie & Bill (from Colorado and here) for a lovely Italian dinner where, unusually, I clean up every morsel on my plate. I er a dress for the first time since e left Calgary! It’s finally hot!
We also arrange to meet up to hike Saguaro East National Park Sunday but Sunday morning dawns rainy and windy and we postpone it for another time. Wisely, as the day turned out to be a bummer.
