FEB 11 SOME BAD ROADS BUT GOOD TIMING

There’s a storm warning for this area of Montana, so we are up, breakfast and out by 8:30am. Yup I did it. It’s very windy but blue sky and we dodge the bullet by getting south of the storm system. Into capital Helena briefly to find AT&T, replace my SIM card in my phone and buy 1G data for he month for $3 (renewable automatically for $30 next month. Easy! My phone is now a Montana number and I pick an easy one to remember.
Today we whiz through temperatures from -1 to 11, up and down over mountain passes and hit some poor road conditions, which keep us at an even speed.  Blowing snow and ice make driving tricky but Ted is ever patient with the idiot drives trying to cut him off!
WEe are into Idaho Falls by the beautiful falls on the river in time to take a very cold walk to the Mexican place at the end of the road for $1.99  margaritas and beers and of course chiles rellenos and mole enchiladas. Dinner $30.
